About Me

Kathy is a Voice Coach based in the North-West with over 10 years experience in coaching and entertaining audiences all around the world.

Kathy coaches Voice Clients 1-2-1 as well as working with shows, companies (BBC/ITV)  and tours, looking at Singing, Speech, Vocal Anatomy Training and Vocal rehab.

Her career stemmed from the classical world, training for several years under the guidance of ABRSM established tutors, before branching off to study Musical Theatre and being awarded the chance to represent the North in the London Sondheim Competition. After a successful 10 year coaching and performance and career , Kathy decided to embark on a Masters at The Royal Northern College of Music, to enhance her songwriting and arrangement skills.

Since 2008, Kathy has studied the anatomy of the Voice under the ideology of Estill Vocal Technique, Accent Method, SLS and Primal Sound whilst gathering knowledge from the NHS Voice Clinic team to amalgamate these styles into a technique and set of principles which can be tailored to the individual. Her current voice research is branching out further to not only support the anatomy and research developments, but also looking into NLP and the emotional connections with the voice.

Kathy regularly performers with her jazz band in a variety of lineups, a popular function band and also session sings for artists across the UK.
